"Change has come to America"-Barack Obama
I feel like part of something bigger today.
The people have spoken and have made a clear, decisive and overwhelming statement.

This is the first time I voted in a Presidential Election, at age 29, although I have been a registered voter since the age of 18. I was inspired and compelled to vote, not only for myself, but for my husband, for my children, for the future. I couldn't get enough last night, I wanted to be fed more and more. I know more is coming. I know there is a long and tough journey ahead for us. But I believe that we will persevere and that change is coming. I have hope!
It feels amazing to be part of such a historic event, the first African-American President in our history! The 44th President of The United States of America! It will be an amazing story to share with our grandchildren and their children, even my children!

I love your thoughts. As Christians we are to respect those whom God has put in authority over us, we are to pray for them, and submit to them. And even if those who have been placed into authority were to go against our moral and spiritual beliefs - we are to act as witnesses and behave in civil order. It's a shame that so many "Christians" are not acting as a witness to our Lord and Savior.
